Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of grounds maintenance experience with a supervisory/lead role.
• Valid driver's license is required at time of employment.
• Certificates/licenses as may be required by Federal, State, and City Government.

Responsibilities

• Assigns work and supervises ground crews in grounds and turf maintenance.
• Plans and implements daily work schedules, training and safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Requests tools, equipment, and supplies; submits work reports.
• Assists with budget estimates.
• Screens applications, interviews job applicants and recommends new hires and other personnel actions.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
