Job summary

Major League Baseball (MLB) via Jackie Robinson Training Complex in Vero Beach, FL seeks a Manager, Grounds to oversee maintenance of all sports fields and facilities, ensuring safe, playable, event-ready spaces for year-round programs. You will lead operations, supervise staff, manage budgets, coordinate with operations and events, and uphold MLB standards across turf, irrigation, and landscape.

This role requires a degree in turfgrass management and several years of leadership in high-quality

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in turfgrass management, agronomy, horticulture, or related field.
• Minimum five years of grounds management experience; at least three in supervisory role.
• Experience maintaining baseball/softball surfaces; knowledge of turf, irrigation, drainage.
• CSFM or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily grounds operations and plan work schedules.
• Recruit and supervise full-time and part-time grounds staff.
• Oversee maintenance of golf-cart fleet and equipment.
• Coordinate with operations and events to ensure site readiness.
