Job summary

Cross Creek Grounds is seeking a dependable, hands-on Crew Leader to lead and manage landscape maintenance crews. You will own weekly work schedules, supervise field operations, and ensure safety and quality across properties.

You will train crew members, communicate with the Account Manager and Production Supervisor, and document site notes on a tablet or phone. A valid driver’s license is required; spray tech certification is preferred. Four 10-hour days offer a three-day weekend.

Qualifications

• Proven landscaping and groundskeeping experience.
• Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; Spray Tech certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide crew members to complete daily tasks.
• Perform quality checks on properties to ensure top-tier results.
• Safely handle and mix chemicals, fertilizers, and fuels per guidelines.
• Maintain daily communication with the Account Manager and Production Supervisor.
• Train crew members in proper equipment use and landscaping best practices.
• Utilize a tablet or phone to track job completion and record notes.
• Leave door tags communicating completion.
• Note client feedback or areas for improvement at each site.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed to protect crew and equipment.
• Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized.
