Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery product on shelves according to standards and guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen foods).
• Perform front-end duties as needed to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Assist with grocery department inventory.
• Work with Grocery Manager and Store Manager to meet guest demand.
• Ensure adequate product levels to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory.
• Order and merchandize ad items to maximize sales and profits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
