• Willing to learn multiple tasks and tools.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Physically able to bend, kneel, stand, and push/pull stock carts.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for guests to shop.
• Maintain organized backstock in the backroom.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery.
• Maintain sanitation on sales floor and backroom area.
• Communicate temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen items).
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait time.
• Assist with grocery department inventory and meeting guest demand.
• Ensure adequate product levels to maximize sales and minimize excess inventory.
• Orders and merchandises all ad items to maximize sales and profits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

To ensure that Lowes Foods guest service and department operation is maintained in the grocery department.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and co-workers.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery product on shelves according to Lowes Foods standards and productivity guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control, rotation of the shelves and overstock, and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
• Communicates temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
• Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure "no noticeable wait" standard is upheld and maintained.
• Assist with grocery department inventory.
• Works with Grocery Manager and Store Manager to meet guest demand for grocery items.
• Ensures adequate product level throughout the grocery department to maximize sales and minimize excessive inventory.
• Orders and merchandises all ad items to maximize sales and profits.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
