Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Graphic Design Specialist to lead our in-house UNT Dining Services design team. The role focuses on print and digital projects across dining venues, central bakery, and catering, while supervising student designers and managing a social media calendar.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a related field with design production experience; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Hours are full-time in Denton, TX, with a salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field and one year work experience in print, video, and/or electronic media production, or equivalent.
• Understanding of the principles, equipment, software, and practices of media design and production.
• Manual dexterity and physical ability to operate various items of media equipment.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and/or 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead graphic designer on print and digital projects for UNT Dining Services.
• Oversee social media presence; create calendars and designs; guide part-time designers.
• Mentor student employees and set high standards; delegate with direction and feedback.
