Atlanta Public Schools is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach for Mays High School for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing student-athletes in basketball fundamentals, leading the coaching staff, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for the team.

This role requires strong communication, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. A stipend of $7500 is offered for this seasonal position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of SRT4-Certification in content field or GHSA Certified.
• First Aid & CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Instruct student athletes in basketball fundamentals and strategies.
• Lead staff in planning and organization of the entire program.
• Maintain budget and inventory for equipment.
• Work collaboratively with school leadership and community for program success.
