Job summary

Salida del Sol Academy in Greeley, CO is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach. You will work closely with assistant coaches, develop practice plans, and lead specific skill development areas. You will supervise students until pickup after practices and meets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification– Can be completed upon hire.
• Prior coaching experience.
• Title IX training– Can be completed upon hire.
• Mandatory Reporter Training– Can be completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Further the Mission of Salida del Sol Academy.
• Knowledge and skills sufficient to perform all duties of the position.
• Ensure that all interested players have submitted a registration packet (including up-to-date physical) BEFORE they begin practicing.
• Communicate with Parents and athletes about practice times.
• Create and communicate with parents and athletes about expectations, both on and off the playing field/court (i.e., consequences for missing practices or not following school code of conduct, failure to maintain required GPA, etc.)
• Communicate game schedule and information to parents and athletes as much in advance as possible (communicate with Athletic Director to acquire schedules and information).
• Create
