MarketSource is seeking a Lead Generator to proactively engage consumers and educate them on the client’s products at big-box retail locations. The role focuses on identifying homeowners, qualifying prospects, and steering them toward a free in-home consultation with the client’s sales team.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engages and educates consumers on the benefits of purchasing the products and services of the client.

• Performs demonstrations of the client’s products to allow the consumer to fully understand the benefits of the products.
• Convinces the consumer to schedule a “Free” in-home consultation with the client’s sales team.
• Collects and enters appropriate consumer and competitive data into MarketSource’s system.

Responsibilities

Summary

The Lead Generator willbe responsible forproactively engaging,educatingand persuading a consumer to schedule an in-home sales consultation with the client’s sales team. Thiswill requireyou to work at bigbox retail locationswhere leads could be generated for the client. The positionrequires a combination of an outgoing personality and the ability to quicklydetermineif the consumer is anidealcandidate for the client’s products and services. Having some basic knowledge of home improvement products and services would be beneficial to the performance of this position. Primary duties include actively seeking out consumers andeducatethem on the benefits of the client’s products. He/she will also need todetermineif the consumer is a homeowner or not,and ifsosuggest that they schedule a “free” in-home consultation with the client’s sales team.

Essential Job Functions:

• Proactively engages and educates consumers on the benefits ofpurchasingthe products and services of the client
• Qualifies the consumer todetermineif they are the right profile forpurchasingthe products and services of the client

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to meet deadlines with little supervision (Self-starter)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong organizational, analytical, andproblem solvingskills
• Understanding of business systems, business processes, and client expectations
• Proactive, self-motivated, entrepreneurial attitude
• Working knowledge with the Internet andweb baseddata collection and reporting

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GEDrequired
• 2 years minimumlead generation,or retail sales experience
• 2yearsminimum experience in successful support roles
• Mustbe available to work primarily on weekends.
