HD Supply Wood Dale is seeking a Lead General Warehouse Associate to coordinate and train across multiple DC functions. This role supports management by mentoring staff, guiding daily operations, and ensuring safe, efficient handling of inventory using material handling equipment.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in warehousing, a technical certification or associate degree, and proven leadership abilities to optimize throughput and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Work typically involves infrequent review of output by a supervisor or direct customers of the process.* Assists with supervisory duties but does not have hiring/firing authority. Trains, delegates tasks, and reviews the work of junior level associates.**Work Environment*** Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
