Job summary

Ro in Torrance, CA is seeking a Lead Fulfillment Technician to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy fulfillment team. You will lead a team of technicians, coach, and ensure accurate, on-time preparation of prescription and non-prescription medications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will work with pharmacy automation equipment, partner with pharmacists and cross‑functional teams, and drive workflow improvements.

Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted California Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, with prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of pharmacy technicians by providing hands‑on coaching, real‑time feedback, and performance support to foster a high‑performing team culture.
  • Oversee technician onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development to ensure compliance with SOPs and operational excellence.
  • Support scheduling and staffing needs to ensure appropriate shift coverage and workflow continuity.
  • Ensure pharmacy fulfillment workflows—including picking, packing, and shipping—are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational issues on the floor, escalating concerns to pharmacy leadership as appropriate.
  • Collaborate closely with pharmacists and cross‑functional teams including operations, care, and product to resolve order and shipping issues promptly.
  • Operate and troubleshoot pharmacy automation equipment, ensuring it functions properly to support order volume.
  • Monitor quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the fulfillment process, and drive adherence to all applicable standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by participating in workflow evaluations and helping implement operational enhancements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection‑ready workspace aligned with company policies and regulatory expectations.
  • Flexibly support fulfillment operations by assisting with order processing and technician duties as needed to meet volume demands.
  • Support additional operational tasks and responsibilities as assigned by pharmacy leadership.

Lead Fulfillment Technician

You will help oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy fulfillment team. This role is responsible for managing a team of pharmacy technicians, providing hands‑on leadership through training, coaching, and performance oversight to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards and procedures.

You will support the accurate and timely fulfillment of prescription and non‑prescription medications, while fostering a work culture centered on quality, safety, and efficiency. A key aspect of this role includes working directly with pharmacy automation equipment to streamline fulfillment operations and ensure optimal system performance. With a mindset rooted in continuous improvement, you will collaborate with pharmacy leadership to identify and implement enhancements to workflows and systems. The Lead Fulfillment Technician also plays a key role in compliance adherence and maintaining readiness for inspections. This position is essential to the success of our fulfillment operation and to delivering a seamless, high‑quality experience for our patients.

What You'll Bring To The Team

Schedule & Availability
  • While we strive to maintain consistent schedules, flexibility is required, as your scheduled workdays may occasionally shift to help cover holidays, team PTO, or other staffing needs

The target hourly rate for this position ranges from $$31.50 to $32.75, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable).
