Job summary

Sensor Tower seeks a Frontend Engineer to define and own major frontend components, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and speed. You will shape the product's technical direction within a lean, flat team and deliver an intuitive user experience across data-heavy applications.

You will mentor peers, lead medium-to-large features, and collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Backend teams to optimize data flow and overall reliability.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience focused on modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Ability to architect complex state management and scalable frontend systems.
• Experience writing robust unit and integration tests (Jest or Playwright).
• Strong understanding of web performance and browser internals.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver complex frontend systems with scalable, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to shape requirements and scope.
• Lead technical decisions for medium-to-large features and ensure value delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews and pairing.
• Own the frontend stack and drive performance and debt initiatives.
• Advocate best practices in React, TypeScript, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with Data Science and Backend Engineers for end-to-end reliability.
