Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to build analytics experiences for searches and dashboards across Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.

You will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to translate customer needs into scalable features and reusable components. You will help shape the frontend technical roadmap, contribute to documentation and testing, and mentor engineers during design sessions and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in web software development with 8+ years experience.
• Experience building client-side apps with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React/Redux/Backbone.js).
• Experience using CLI tools, source control, testing frameworks, and CI in software development.
• Experience mentoring engineers and participating in design/code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive analytics experiences for searches and dashboards in Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Cloud.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering to translate customer needs into features.
• Contribute to documentation, testing, and ongoing support; drive frontend roadmap.
• Mentor engineers, participate in design sessions, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
