Job summary

The Tyche Project is seeking an engineer in Boston, MA to help move an existing Rails app to a fully re-architected AngularJS application. You will work on a profitable platform currently used by major brands to improve local retail engagement.

Ideal candidates should have strong front-end development skills, an understanding of object-oriented design patterns, and experience with asynchronous request handling. This is a local opportunity; no sponsorship is available.

Qualifications

• Experience working on large-scale SaaS initiatives.
• Demonstrated strong front-end development skills especially concerning object-oriented design patterns and object-oriented CSS (Sass, etc).
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.

Responsibilities

• Be involved throughout the entire product life cycle (FDLC) from day one.
• Work with UX, Design, and API development teams on a daily basis.
• Support and educate other team members with your expertise.
