Job summary

IntePros is seeking a Senior Frontend/BFF Engineer to own the user experience layer and Backend-for-Frontend capabilities. You will design AI-enabled web experiences, compose APIs, and orchestrate backend data for specific user journeys, bridging frontend engineering, API composition, and domain workflows.

You will collaborate across Product, Analysis, Design and Engineering teams to deliver production-ready experiences with strong emphasis on performance, accessibility and security.

Qualifications

• Experience with React/Next.js and TypeScript in production systems.
• Experience with BFF architecture and API composition.
• Knowledge of authentication/authorization patterns and secure sessions.
• Proficiency in design systems, accessibility and responsive UI.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD pipelines and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, responsive web applications for pricing, underwriting, data, workspace, and operations.
• Build and maintain BFF services that aggregate APIs and orchestrate data for front-end needs.
• Create AI-enabled user experiences, agent interfaces, and workflow automation.
• Develop reusable component libraries, UI patterns, and design system assets for cross-team delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, Designers, Engineers and SMEs to translate requirements into production-ready experiences.
• Integrate front-end apps with APIs, event streams, identity providers, telemetry and observability tooling.
• Own performance, accessibility, security, responsiveness and test automation for front-end and BFF capabilities.
• Define and mentor front-end engineering practices including state management and release automation.
• Leverage AI copilots to accelerate implementation while upholding quality standards.
