• Minimum of 3–7 years of progressive experience in fraud investigations, financial crimes, or financial services risk management
• Strong experience conducting complex investigations involving multiple data points and suspicious activity patterns
• Knowledge of fraud typologies, investigative techniques, and fraud risk management practices
• Ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders
• Independent work style with sound judgment in high-risk matters
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience communicating with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Proficiency with case management, monitoring, and reporting tools
• Experience in banking/retirement/fintech or law enforcement; professional certifications a plus
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead complex fraud investigations across multiple accounts, transactions, and channels
• Identify emerging fraud trends, typologies, and risk indicators
• Conduct root cause analysis and strengthen fraud controls
• Investigate using internal systems and data sources; document findings thoroughly
• Prepare clear case documentation, summaries, and escalation materials
• Coordinate with operations, compliance, legal, tech, and other teams
• Support high-priority escalations and complex fraud events
