SkyBridge Tactical is seeking experienced FPV Instructors to support Naval Special Warfare-focused training operations. This role covers first-person-view unmanned systems instruction, curriculum development, and hands-on troubleshooting, integrating FPV capabilities into operational environments.

Ideal candidates bring real-world tactical FPV experience and strong instructional ability. The TOR identifies 3 full-time positions and requires candidates to meet government security requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience flying, troubleshooting, and fixing FPV systems across multiple UAS platforms from a tactical perspective in contested environments.
• Experience implementing, evaluating, and executing training curriculum for foundational flight fundamentals and advanced piloting skills in combat/contested environments.
• Familiarity with soldering PCBAs and wiring connections.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, preferably across DoD components.
• Experience vetting FPV, sUAS, and cUAS hardware/software.
• Hands-on experience with kinetic FPVs in recent conflicts.
• Proven electronics safety practices and fundamentals.
• 3+ years with Betaflight and FPV simulator software.
• Experience integrating payloads and communications into UAS.
• Experience in Counter-UAS operations, tactics, and procedures.
• Experience employing FPVs in real-world combat scenarios.
• FAA Part 107 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FPV instruction in classroom and practical environments.
• Develop and refine FPV training curriculum for foundational and advanced flight.
• Teach flight fundamentals and piloting skills for combat/contested environments.
• Troubleshoot, repair, configure, and maintain FPV systems across UAS platforms.
• Evaluate and integrate emerging FPV hardware/software solutions.
• Support FPV knowledge integration within cross-functional teams.
• Assist with payload integration and mission-relevant configurations.
• Provide instruction on safe electronics handling, assembly, soldering, and wiring.
• Contribute operational insights on FPV employment and battlefield trends.
• Support curriculum updates based on lessons learned.
