Job summary

ConductorAI in the Washington, DC area seeks an FDE lead who will sit at the intersection of engineering and customer partnership. You will be onsite with customers regularly, write code, debug systems, and help shape the architecture of a platform built to leverage LLMs and modern AI techniques.

You will communicate complex technical concepts clearly to users and stakeholders. As an early team member, you will help shape our culture, processes, and product direction, measure impact, and grow

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD clearance (TS or TS/SCI).
• 3+ years of professional software or forward deployed engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience working directly with end users or customers.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Go onsite to customer environments to configure, optimize, and support ConductorAI software.
• Write and maintain production-quality code in Python and TypeScript.
• Gather feedback from users and translate insights into product requirements.
• Debug and improve system reliability, performance, and usability.
• Build technical demonstrations for customers and partners.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to ship features from customer needs.
• Help lead and grow the FDE team.
