Job summary

Plastipak is seeking a Lead Forklift Operator in Jackson Center, OH. This night‑shift role (5:00 pm–5:10 am) features 12‑hour rotations with every other weekend off.

You will lead, train and mentor teammates, coordinate work assignments and uphold safety, quality and productivity between warehouse and production. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years forklift/warehouse experience, RF scanner and SAP familiarity, data entry, and leadership potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of forklift and warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with data entry and SAP; RF scanner experience.
• Experience training others and demonstrating leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead forklift operations and set the example for safe, efficient handling between warehouse and production areas.
• Coordinate Forklift Operator and Material Handler work assignments to uphold safety, quality and productivity standards.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentoring for new hires and experienced team members.
• Develop leadership skills and position yourself for future promotional opportunities.
