Job summary

Alta Warehousing & Logistics is seeking a Forklift Lead in Jacksonville. You will operate forklifts to move and stack products, maintain inventory records, and communicate with the team to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities include leading a warehouse team, training staff, and supporting overall operations to meet shipping and receiving SOPs while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years proven forklift operator experience.
• Lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures and safety standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move, locate, and stack products.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and use RF scanning equipment.
• Lead and train warehouse staff; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with team to meet shipping and receiving SOPs.
• Help achieve warehouse KPIs and optimize processes.
• Assist with inventories and cycle counts as needed.
