Misfits Market is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for our fulfillment center in the United States. You will safely operate forklifts and other equipment to move, stack, and organize grocery products, while maintaining accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment.

Role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and grocery box credits as part of the benefits package.

Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Candidate must pass internal forklift operator certification.
Quality control background in produce/grocery preferred.
Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift in a warehouse setting.
Solid knowledge of OSHA safety protocols and forklift safety.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with WMS preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts for accurate tracking.
Pick and stage products to fulfill customer orders per procedures.
Follow safety protocols and wear PPE; report hazards to management.
Perform routine maintenance checks and report issues to maintenance.
Coordinate with supervisors to prioritize tasks and resolve operational issues.

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator in our fulfillment center. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, stack, and organize grocery products within the warehouse. This role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport grocery products throughout the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, moving pallets, and stacking products in designated storage areas.
Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed, ensuring accurate tracking and recording of product movements within the warehouse.
Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill customer orders by accurately picking and staging products for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation, including conducting pre-operational checks, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety hazards or incidents to management.
Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs to maintenance personnel.
Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and address any issues or concerns related to forklift operations.

What you have

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to pass the internal forklift operator certification
Quality Control background in Produce/Grocery
Experience operating a Stand-Up Forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
Strong understanding of company and OSHA safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, as well as stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
