Job summary

Fusion Transport in Romeoville, IL is seeking an Operations Lead for the 3rd shift to coordinate forklift operators and manage day-to-day warehouse activities. You will focus on safety, productivity, and accurate processing to meet customer and carrier timelines.

Qualifications

2+ years in a 3PL or supply chain logistics role.
Experience supervising forklift operations and docks.
Strong communication and train-the-team capability.
Willingness to work mandatory overtime as required.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations (receiving, storage, picking, packing, shipping).
Ensure orders and loads processed accurately and on time.
Monitor workflow; adjust staffing or priorities as needed.
Assign tasks and provide operations support to warehouse teams.
Train new employees on procedures, safety and equipment.
Provide coaching and maintain team morale.
Support inventory control and cycle counts.
Identify improvements for productivity and cost reduction.
Enforce OSHA safety standards and conduct audits.
