Job summary

Performance Contracting Group is seeking a Foreman for PCI Austin 549 in Austin, TX. You will lead safety, productivity and quality on site, coordinating with the superintendent and project manager to start up, execute and close out projects.

Responsibilities include optimizing crew mix, directing field activities, and maintaining PCG safety standards while fostering strong relationships with trades and customers. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Foreman/Supervisor role.
• Proven track record in supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficient in reading cold formed metal framing shop drawings.
• Managed a crew size of 20+ craftsmen.
• Understanding of wall framing limiting heights and UL assemblies.
• Proficient in quality control.
• Able to stand and work outside for extended periods.
• Physically able to perform assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects.
• Collaborate with superintendent and project manager to coordinate project startup, execution and close out.
• Use look-ahead schedules, manpower forecasts and project specifications to provide optimum scheduling of material, manpower and crew mix.
• Direct and assign crew field activities to maximize productivity while maintaining PCG standards of quality and safety.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with trades, vendors, coworkers and customers to maximize effectiveness.
• Convey a professional and positive onsite representation of the branch and corporation.
• Use available technology to perform job tasks efficiently.
• Perform all duties in a state of alertness and safety.
