Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced asbestos abatement worker for field duties in Artesia, NM. The role involves removing asbestos from ceilings, walls, beams, and boilers, assembling scaffolds, and maintaining strict hazardous waste procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Position portable air evacuation and filtration system inside work area.
• Build connecting walkway between mobile unit or portable showers and work area using hand tools and materials.
• Spray chemical solution over asbestos covered surfaces to soften asbestos.
• Cut and scrape asbestos into plastic bags and seal the bags.
• Clean work area of loose asbestos using vacuum, broom, and dust pan.
• Other duties as assigned.
