POSITION OUTLINE:
The Lead Foreman is primarily responsible for overseeing the daily operations on the construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and within the allocated timeframes and budgets. As a link between construction workers and project managers, the Foreman ensures the team adheres to building codes, plans, and safety regulations while maintaining the high standards expected within the industry.

QUALIFICATIONS:
A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in the heavy construction industry is preferred. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate crew members. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications. Understanding safety regulations, DOT requirements, and quality control procedures. Must be willing to obtain and maintain all certifications and required training (CPR, First Aid, OSHA 30, etc.) Knowledge of bridge, highway, and/or concrete rehabilitation preferred. Valid driver's license. May be required to work extended hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends. Ability to meet physical requirements, such as lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, etc. Spanish-speaking skills are highly preferred to communicate with diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.
