Chartwells K-12, a Compass Group USA brand, is hiring a full-time Lead Food Service Worker in South Windsor, CT for the school café. The role oversees daily cafe operations, supports staff, and ensures food quality and safety standards in a school environment.

The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with hours that may vary. Responsibilities include supervising service, training staff, cash handling, inventory, and contributing to menu planning and ordering procedures.

• Follows procedures and expedites workflow to ensure efficient meal service to all service areas.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and associates per company standards and regulations.
• Oversees productivity and breaks of associates and communicates performance issues to management.
• Helps onboard and train associates; may conduct pre-service meetings.
• Handles cash; completes daily, weekly and monthly reports, including inventory and production records.
• Responds to customer needs and requests; resolves concerns.
• Assists in menu planning and ordering procedures using company programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
