Job summary

Maschio's Food Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Food Service Worker for a school nutrition program in the High Bridge, NJ area. Monday–Friday, day shift, no weekends or holidays, summers off.

You will lead a kitchen team, train staff, and ensure NSLP compliance in a fast-paced environment within the district. The role requires experience in food service, adherence to safety procedures, PPE enforcement, inventory control, and basic POS duties.

Qualifications

• Must have food service experience, K-12 experience a plus.
• Follow recipes according to NSLP guidelines.
• Observe all safety and food handling procedures at all times.
• Enforce the use of PPE at all times.
• Inventory and ordering responsibilities.
• POS / cash register duties.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Comfortable in leading a kitchen team in a fast paced environment. Training staff as needed. Possible travel within the school district. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in NJ schools.
