Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of and assist in the preparation of food items for the day and dating products.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Responsible for accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items on the line prior to serving customers.
• Alert management and pull food items that do not meet quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers as they approach and leave the serving line.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints with a positive attitude.
• Coordinate and maintain a clean work station and equipment.
• Ensure utensils and surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.
• Dispose of waste from the service line properly.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas as needed.
• Support safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train across areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
