Job summary

Roskam Foods in Kentwood, MI is seeking a Lead Industrial Cleaning Technician to enforce food safety, manage line cleanups, and maintain sanitation schedules on site.

You will monitor cleaning inventory, ensure correct chemical dilutions, and coordinate with the Plant Sanitation Manager to address HACCP and GMP findings. Flexible hours may be required and a strong math/reasoning background is essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all elements of food safety within the plant.
• Oversee upkeep of entrances, floors, utility areas and storage areas; handle line clean ups and document clean ups.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning equipment and cleaning supplies; ensure proper completion of Master Sanitation Schedule work.
• Read and manage the Master cleaning Schedule; ensure cleaners are used per manufacturers’ instructions.
