Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Lead Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to head our urgent care team. You will provide patient-centered care, supervise clinical staff, and mentor new graduates while delivering high-quality, efficient care.

Ideal candidates have emergency/urgent care experience, a Master's in Nursing, and an active NP license with DEA and BLS. This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and ongoing professional development within a busy urgent care setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing with NP certification.
• DEA license with no restrictions.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care through health assessments, exams, and histories.
• Assess health, interview patients, perform exams, and document findings.
• Order/interpret diagnostics and manage conditions.
• Administer injections, immunizations, sutures, and wound care.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, wellness, and family planning.
• Prepare accurate medical records and ensure EMR compliance.
• Collaborate with clinic staff to plan dispositions and care coordination.
• Lead and mentor staff when the Practice Manager is away.
• Maintain ongoing professional development and participate in education.
