Job summary

MainStreet Family Care in Monroeville, AL is hiring a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner to join our high-volume urgent care team. You will provide patient-centered care across all ages, lead a small clinical team, and work through a comprehensive scope of practice including telemedicine and occupational medicine.

We welcome new graduates and provide onboarding with HQ orientation, ongoing training, and support to grow into a capable independent provider.

Qualifications

• FNP board certification is required.
• MSN or higher degree required; newly graduated candidates welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT; company covers certification.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat common illnesses (cold, flu, strep, etc.).
• Perform minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal).
• Suturing and splinting as needed.
• General orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review X-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• Provide general dermatology and eye care.
• Interpret EKGs and manage emergencies.
• Offer general GYN care and pediatric care.
• Provide occupational medicine services and telemedicine.
• Lead and mentor a small clinical team.
