Job summary

Vestcom, an Avery Dennison company, is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to lead press setup, operation, and quality control. You will own machine performance, monitor print accuracy, and perform preventive maintenance to deliver high-quality products.

If you are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you. Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM, with responsibilities including setup, quality control, process management, and equipment

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of flexographic printing or machine operation experience preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and basic math proficiency.
• Ability to work independently, follow SOPs, and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Machine setup and operation according to job specifications.
• Quality control: Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, registration, and defects.
• Process management: Blend inks and varnishes, measure viscosity, load raw materials, and maintain speeds.
• Equipment maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues to maximize uptime.
• Safety & continuous improvement: Follow SOPs and record daily time and material usage in the system.
