Job summary

Valicor Environmental Services in Middletown, OH is seeking a Lead Fleet Mechanic to oversee maintenance of the fleet and lead a small shop team on site. The ideal candidate will lift 50 pounds, work with OEM diagnostic software, and support daily field operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods and lift 50+ pounds.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and repairs on fleet equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire repairs, and preventive maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Diagnose breakdowns and perform repairs.
• Use OEM software for electrical diagnostics.
• Repair engines, fuel, and after-treatment systems.
• Repair drivetrain components including drive shafts, transmissions, and differentials.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Train and assist other mechanics.
• Source and inventory parts and shop supplies.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and Fleet Manager on status.

Lead Fleet Mechanic

Valicor Environmental Services is looking for a Lead Fleet Mechanicto work in our Middletown, OH (Lefferson Road)facility.

Job Duties

• Oil changes, tire repairs and preventative maintenance on all fleet equipment
• Diagnose breakdowns and conduct repairs
• Perform electrical diagnostics using OEM software
• Perform diagnostics and repair of engine, fuel, and after treatment systems
• Perform repair and replacement of drivetrain components such as drive shafts, transmissions, and differentials
• Maintain accurate and complete preventative maintenance records and work orders
• Assist and train other mechanics
• Inventory and source parts and shop supplies
• Communicate with Dispatch and Fleet Manager regarding fleet maintenance and repair status
• Keep the shop area and surrounding area clean
• Follow all plant safety policies and procedures

Basic Requirements

• Required to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to safely climb ladders
• Must be able to lift 50+pounds
