Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Recreation, Kinesiology/Exercise Science Health, Business, or related field.
• Group fitness instructor and personal training certification from an organization accredited by the NCCA. Current CPR certification.
• Two or more years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, develop, implement, schedule, supervise, and evaluate fitness programs including group fitness, personal training, small group training, and events.
• Assist with recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and training of part-time, student, and tech staff; foster regular coaching.
• Create engaging experiences for staff; ensure certifications are met and monitor performance.
• Partner with campus stakeholders to promote health and wellness across the institute and campus.
• Develop and manage program budgets; monitor payroll and maintain financial documentation.
• Track program participation and analyze data to improve offerings and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with marketing to design a year-long promotional plan for member engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
