Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness in Michigan is seeking a Head Fitness Coach to lead a studio team and guide members through our heart-rate based workouts. You’ll mentor coaches, ensure proper form, and foster a passionate, collaborative environment while upholding safety standards and the company’s coaching philosophy.

A current fitness certification and AED/CPR certification are required, with a chance to grow into franchise ownership through the company’s training and support.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness.
• Be AED/CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate members through pre-defined workouts.
• Ensure members use correct form and provide corrections when needed.
• Understand the science behind heart-rate focused training programs and stay aware of competitors’ offerings.
• Know how to operate and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment used in workouts.
• Be a team player and collaborate with staff to deliver exceptional coaching.
