Job summary

Responsibilities include directing tasks, coordinating with project managers, updating as-built drawings, handling change orders, and maintaining equipment and supplies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire sprinkler piping systems and fabrication methods.
• Ability to read fire protection blueprints and installation requirements.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• AFSA training program designed for fire sprinkler foreman is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Lead, direct, and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to meet project deadlines.
• Update installation progress notes on contract drawings (as-builts) and report changes for approvals.
• Maintain safety practices, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure a clean, organized site.
• Interpret drawings, estimate materials, and maintain inventory and equipment.
