Job summary

Western States Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Lead Fire Alarm Technician to join our Colorado team. You will oversee installation, programming, and service of fire alarm systems, and coordinate with engineers and contractors to ensure project quality.

Ideal candidates have NICET I, NFPA 72 knowledge, 5 years of related experience, strong communication, and ability to travel within Colorado. Driver’s license and background check required; OSHA 30 is a plus.

Qualifications

• NICET I certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year.
• Solid knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable codes.
• 5 years’ service or installation experience preferred.
• Ability to travel within Colorado as needed.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Site verifications of fire alarm installations.
• Analysis of blueprints and coordination with engineers and contractors.
• Install, program, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm equipment.
• Interact with clients, field personnel, and Fire Marshals.
