Job summary

Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking a Lead Fire Alarm Technician to drive installation, maintenance, and repair of sophisticated fire alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sites. You will oversee projects, mentor junior technicians, and coordinate with EST, Notifier, Silent Knight, Firelite, Ademco, and Bosch systems to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.

Ideal candidates bring proven field experience, current state licenses for relevant fire alarm and access

Qualifications

• Proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems.
• Licenses for Commercial Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Nurse Call, and Access Control required or in-hand.
• Certifications and ongoing education in fire safety systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation, maintenance and repair of advanced fire alarm systems.
• Oversee projects and ensure safety and compliance on site.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide on-site instruction.
• Engage with multiple system vendors across sectors (commercial, industrial, healthcare).

Requirements

• Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of various fire alarm systems, including EST, Notifier, Silent Knight, Firelite, Ademco, and Bosch
• Ability to supervise and instruct others effectively on job sites
• Possession of applicable state licenses for Commercial Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Nurse Call, and Access Control
• Relevant certifications and ongoing education in fire safety systems are preferred
