Job summary

Convergint is seeking a full-time Lead Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team. You will lead inspections, test fire alarm systems, and oversee colleagues to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, within our safety-driven culture.

You will read blueprints, perform complex tests, and handle after-hours inspections as needed, while upholding our values and delivering results for clients across our service regions.

Qualifications

• Experience testing and inspecting fire alarm systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and design drawings.
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; meet customer needs.
• Solid math skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect fire alarm systems in specified buildings.
• Act as team lead and oversee or direct work of other Fire Alarm Inspectors.
• Identify and report problems or discrepancies.
• Ensure customer satisfaction for all inspections.
• Handle more complex system tests and inspections.
• Perform after-hours and weekend inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as requested.
