The Lead Inspector is responsible for inspecting a building to ensure its low voltage system complies with all local, state, and federal codes and owner requirements. You focus on the proper function of the alarm systems but also inspect other systems that support our customers, including Intrusion, Access Control, and CCTV. You may direct and assist other inspectors, ensure safety policies are followed, ensure work is compliant with industry standards, and coach/teach other inspectors on proper inspections and reports. You must be familiar with NFPA, FFPC, AHCA and Joint Commission standards.
The Lead Inspector reports directly to the Service Manager and works closely with the Service Coordinator and Sales Department.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs, or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
