Job summary

GCB Services LLC in Buffalo Grove, IL seeks a Lead Planner / Service Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning for a growing client base, maintain trusted relationships, and coordinate with a pod of advisors.

The role is primarily non-sales for daily planning, with occasional opportunities to expand assets among existing clients; requires CFP, Series 65/66, life license and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience working with clients as a Financial Planner.
• Series 65 or Series 66 license required.
• CFP designation preferred; must obtain CFP within 2 years of hire.
• Life Insurance license preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for all assigned clients in Holistic Wealth Management.
• Provide day-to-day financial planning support and follow-up on client meetings.
• Prepare comprehensive financial plan recommendations and retirement income plans.
• Develop investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses.
• Collaborate with team members on client cases and conduct regular client reviews.
• Utilize tax planning software to assess client tax situations and strategies.
• Assist with annuities, life insurance, and LTC illustrations to find the best options.
• Support one-off analyses and other financial planning services as needed.
