Job summary

Amaltash is building an advisory program for tech professionals from the ground up, focusing on equity compensation, concentrated stock, liquidity events and related strategies. The Lead Financial Advisor role will design the service, advise the initial clients personally, and scale by hiring and training the advisors who follow.

We seek a professional with 8+ years of client advisory experience, deep equity compensation knowledge, and appropriate Series 65 or equivalent licensing.

Qualifications

• 8+ years advising clients, including tech employees or founders.
• Deep working knowledge of equity compensation and its tax treatment.
• Series 65 (or 7+66) held, or passed within 90 days of joining.

Responsibilities

• Design the advisory service: target clients, offerings, and onboarding.
• Advise the first clients personally, then hire and train subsequent advisors.
• Write playbooks for RSUs, options, 10b5-1 plans and concentrated positions.

What you bring (8+ years)

• 8+ years advising clients, with a book that includes tech employees or founders.
• Deep working knowledge of equity compensation and its tax treatment.
• Series 65 (or 7 + 66) held, or passed within 90 days of joining.

Big bonus

• You work, or have worked, in fintech, wealth management, brokerage or trading.
• You invest your own money and have used Wealthfront, Betterment, Robinhood or similar, and wanted more control than they give you.
• CFP or CFA.
