Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or field services.
  • NETA Level II, III, or IV certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year.
  • Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and schematic interpretation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive electrical tests (high-current, relay, cable, transformer oil) and analyze results to ensure reliability.
  • Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues, recommending repairs or replacements as needed.
  • Inspect, test, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment for optimal performance.
  • Lead field service projects, mentor junior technicians, and document findings for transparency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver cohesive solutions.

Technical Expertise
  • Electrical Testing and Analysis: Perform comprehensive electrical tests, including high-current, relay, cable, and transformer oil testing, and analyze results to ensure system reliability.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, providing recommendations for repairs or replacements to maintain system integrity.

  • Collaboration: Partner with engineers, project managers, and team members to deliver cohesive and efficient solutions.
Safety and Compliance
  • Safety Protocols: Strictly adhere to safety regulations and NETA standards, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough field-level risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Policy Compliance: Uphold company policies and safety regulations in all activities, ensuring consistent compliance.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in electrical testing, maintenance, or field services, preferably in low, medium, and high-voltage systems.
  • NETA Level II, III, or IV certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification within the first year.
  • Proficiency in electrical testing equipment, troubleshooting techniques, and schematic interpretation.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior staff, and manage projects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, NETA standards, and industry safety protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and report writing.
  • Ability to work in various field conditions, lift heavy equipment, and perform physically demanding tasks.
