Job summary

Setpoint-Integrated seeks a Field Service Technician – MOV II to install, service, test, repair and maintain electric actuator valves. The role covers diverse environments, safety adherence, and overtime to meet seasonal demand.

Expect to mentor MOV I staff, interpret manuals, perform calibration, and document findings for customers and billing records while ensuring quality per specifications.

Qualifications

• HS education or GED equivalent is a plus.
• 2–5 years of industry experience.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of electric actuator experience.
• Basic OSHA and TWIC card (TWIC, only if required).

Responsibilities

• Locate, use, and comprehend manufacturer installation and operation manuals.
• Perform inspection to identify necessary corrective action.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot actuators per applicable codes and standards.
• Install accessories as necessary.
• Perform calibration of equipment in accordance with internal quality procedures.
• Mentor MOV I technicians and potentially lead jobs.
• Demonstrates sound judgment with decisions when problems are identified.
• Collects data and documents; prepares detailed reports for customer review and billing records.
