Job summary

Brilliant is seeking an experienced Senior OSP Fiber Splicer to support carrier-grade fiber networks across the Denver metro area. This role focuses on outside plant work, independent splicing, testing, troubleshooting, outage restoration, and customer cutovers, not residential FTTH.

You will splice loose tube and ribbon fiber, run OTDR tests, interpret results, and read splice diagrams. A company vehicle is provided for field operations with travel focused in the Denver area.

Qualifications

• Strong OSP fiber optic experience.
• Fusion splicing experience essential.
• Fiber testing and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to interpret OTDR results and locate faults.
• Experience reading splice diagrams and network schematics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform fusion splicing on loose tube and ribbon fiber.
• Conduct OTDR and fiber testing activities.
• Troubleshoot network faults and identify service-impacting issues.
• Support emergency restoration efforts and fiber damage repairs.
• Perform customer cutovers and maintenance activities.
• Read and interpret splice diagrams, network schematics, and construction drawings.
• Complete testing documentation and project closeouts.
• Maintain high-quality standards and accurate network records.
• Operate independently in the field with a company-provided vehicle.

A growing telecommunications infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Senior OSP Fiber Splicer to support carrier-grade fiber networks throughout the Denver metro area.

This is not a residential FTTH installer role. The team is looking for someone with strong outside plant (OSP) experience who can independently perform fiber splicing, network testing, troubleshooting, outage restoration, and customer cutover activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform fusion splicing on loose tube and ribbon fiber

Travel & Schedule

• Approximately 90% of work is within the Denver metro area
• Occasional regional travel may be required
• Candidates should be comfortable supporting overnight cutovers, emergency restorations, and occasional after-hours work as needed
