Stevenson Staffing LLC seeks a Senior Trial Attorney – Partner/Shareholder to lead complex federal litigation, class actions, and high-stakes jury trials in New York. The role requires substantial federal prosecution experience, senior-level leadership, and a track record of managing multi-party matters.

Ideal candidates will have 20+ years of experience, a J.D. from an ABA-accredited school, and an active New York State Bar admission.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of legal experience at Partner/Shareholder or equivalent senior level.
• Substantial federal prosecution experience with U.S. Attorney’s Office, DOJ, or comparable federal role.
• Extensive experience in complex federal litigation and class actions, especially in the past 10–15 years.
• Significant first-chair or second-chair trial experience, including jury trials.
• Proven ability to manage multi-party litigation, discovery, motion practice, and demanding trial schedules.
• Demonstrated success leading legal teams and managing high-value litigation.
• Graduated with a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex litigation matters from investigation and case strategy through trial, resolution, and appeal.
• Serve as lead or co-lead counsel in jury trials, hearings, and dispositive motion proceedings.
• Develop litigation strategies and oversee discovery, pretrial preparation, and case management.
• Manage relationships with a large number of plaintiffs and navigate high-conflict client situations.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery materials, and other legal documents.
• Coordinate with co-counsel, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and litigation support staff.
• Ensure compliance with court rules, ethical obligations, and applicable legal procedures.
