Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Lead Provider for our Waterville, Maine urgent care center. You will guide clinical staff, mentor new-grad providers, and shape a modern, patient-centered care model from the ground up.

This role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering high-quality same-day care. You will play a key role in team-based care, education, and mentorship while building an innovative urgent care experience for the community.

Qualifications

• NP certification and clinical leadership experience in urgent care or emergency settings.
• DEA license with no restrictions required.
• BLS certification required; other ACLS/CPR may not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor clinical staff, including new-grad providers.
• Provide patient-centered care with comprehensive health assessments and treatments.
• Ensure clear, compliant EMR documentation and adherence to policies.
• Collaborate with the clinic team to optimize patient flow and care quality.
