Focused Energy is seeking a Facility Development Lead to own the integrated development plan for its Biblis facility in Germany. Qualifications

• Experience leading complex facility or technical site development in Germany.
• Working knowledge of German building, planning, permitting, and compliance processes.
• Ability to translate engineering needs into facility requirements.
• Ability to manage external architects, planners, consultants, or engineers.
• Strong stakeholder interface experience with site owners, authorities, landlords, utilities, or senior external partners.
• Professional German and English language capability.

Responsibilities

• Define the facility development direction by translating technical requirements into a phased, executable site/building/infrastructure plan.
• Lead the RWE/site-owner interface on planning, infrastructure constraints, utilities, and long-term site expansion, coordinating with the Senior Construction Project Manager.
• Translate engineering needs into facility requirements across lasers, targetry, diagnostics, controls, cleanrooms, electrical systems, safety and operations.
• Drive design and permitting strategy by identifying required approvals, regulatory constraints, fire protection requirements, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate external architects, planners, consultants and utilities partners against FE’s roadmap and decision needs.
• Maintain a current picture of facility options, risks, dependencies, and cost/schedule implications for senior leadership.
