Job summary

Rwdy-Inc in Midland, TX is seeking a Facilities Engineer Specialist III to provide brownfield facilities engineering, operational support, and surveillance for existing assets. The role focuses on improving reliability, safety, and production performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• Extensive knowledge of design standards, specs, codes, and safety criteria.
• Brownfield facilities engineering and operations-support experience.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead small projects through completion.
• Debottleneck facilities and production to accommodate new volumes.
• Resolve safety and risk hazards through engineering actions.
• Minimize downtime and optimize production.
• Participate in risk assessments, HAZOPs, hazard hunts, and COP reviews.
• Lead incident investigations involving downtime and process-safety events.
• Support opportunity management and develop project scopes of work.
• Conduct risk assessments for new and existing facilities.
• Drive closure of risk-mitigation actions.
• Lead performance testing and plant-based trials.
• Develop operating guidelines for facilities.
• Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
