Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a Lead Operator to oversee output, specifications and overall quality on the production line in Kansas. You will collaborate with line operators and assist in packaging and housekeeping to maintain efficiency.

Requirements include reading English instructions, basic measurement and arithmetic, forklift and scissor lift licenses, and SAP end-of-shift closures. This role offers growth in a manufacturing environment with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English.
• Ability to read a tape measure, perform basic arithmetic, and use US customary units.
• Licenses required: forklift, scissor lift, Kansas Class C driver’s license.
• Familiarity with SAP for end-of-shift production close.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; work safely.
• Perform duties of Production C, B and A operators.
• Assist in training Production operators.
• Gauge line readiness and adjust extruder heat for quality pipe.
• Maintain ink jet printers and select correct print.
• Coordinate with maintenance to repair equipment when needed.
